Hello friends and subscribers to Musicians of the Midnight Sun! I thought this is an opportune time to write a brief note to say thanks to all of you for your support of the MMS website and podcast series.

It’s also a good excuse to celebrate the wrap up of the 20 episodes so far in the podcast series. The voluminous engagements and comments on social media have been and continue to be fantastic! My hopes and goals for this podcast series have come to fruition and then some.

Series 3 continues next week with stories from more of the musicians I have had the pleasure to play music with over the decades and others who contributed to the local scene and directly or indirectly influenced my own musical journey. This collection contains some of the more introspective observations from those magical musical years of the 1960s and 1970s.

Throughout the series, I have noticed the different perspectives of the musicians who came from the south for a period of time and then returned south as compared to the musicians who were either born and/or raised in the north and stayed. Either way, from that period in time, they were in their prime and of course, reflect fondly on those music filled years of their youth.

Once again, I would like to thank all of you for your support so far. Thanks for listening!

If I could ask you to share widely and if possible, to donate what you can to the future development and continuation of the project.

Musicians of the Midnight Sun was born from and is recorded and produced in the Old Town of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
